Storm Shelters, Bomb Shelters,
and Gun Storage Storm shelters, bomb shelters and gun storage all utilize the same steel reinforced structure. The differences lie in their intended use. For storm shelters the project should be above flood levels and have appropirate emergency supplies prepared and ready, (see links). For bomb shelters the projects must be engineered and designed to withstand the forces that would be placed upon the structure as well as the nuclear, biological, & chemical agents that would possibly be present, (see links as well). For gun storage the projects would need to have sufficient access for the installation of the gun safe. The project would not only address saftey and function concerns but would also be esthetically well designed. The goal being to have the project TOTALLY BLEND INTO the surrounding landscape becoming completely hidden or "invisible".
